Bring your analog video system into the future with this recorder
A hard disk recorder suitable for all types of analog surveillance. The smart thing about a hybrid recorder is that it supports analog cameras, HD cameras over coaxial cables and IP cameras.
The XVR301-08Q3 is an 8-channel recorder primarily developed for analog surveillance cameras. That means the cameras connect directly via coaxial cable using BNC connectors.
It supports the most common analog standards such as TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS. That makes it suitable for both new installations and upgrades of existing analog systems.
At the same time the recorder can also be used as a hybrid. That means you can combine analog cameras with IP cameras on the same recorder. This can be an advantage if you want to upgrade gradually from analog to IP.
HD video over existing cables
The optimal and most future-proof solution is of course to replace the old cables with network cables and set up IP cameras, which this XVR also supports. But there can be many good reasons not to replace the old cables. Whether due to budget or other reasons, this lets you reuse the old cables while still benefiting from HD cameras.
These cameras can be used at up to 8-megapixel resolution and together with this recorder deliver high-resolution images.
8 channels via BNC
The recorder has 8 BNC inputs for analog cameras. Each channel can be adapted to the connected camera type so the system automatically detects the signal type.
This makes installation more flexible and reduces the need for manual configuration.
Make "dumb" analog cameras smart
The built-in analytics can make an ordinary camera smart. You can apply these analytics to the analog channels:
- Ultra Motion Detection (people and vehicles).
Supports all major protocols
TVI, CVI, AHD and CVBS – in short, the most common standards for connecting HD cameras over analog cables.
Hybrid function with IP cameras
In addition to the analog inputs, the recorder can handle IP cameras over the network. That means you can add network cameras and combine them with analog cameras in the same system.
In total the system can be expanded to up to 12 cameras (analog + IP combined). That gives the option to expand or modernize the installation without replacing all equipment at once.
Video output up to 4K
The recorder has an HDMI output supporting up to 4K resolution. There are also VGA and CVBS outputs.
HDMI and VGA can be used at the same time, making it possible to have both a local monitor and an additional display.
Recording and compression
The recorder supports H.265 and H.264 video compression. That means recordings take up less space on the hard disk compared with older formats.
This provides longer recording time on the same storage.
Space for one hard drive
There is room for one internal hard drive up to 8TB. The total storage capacity depends on hard drive choice and recording settings.
This makes the recorder suitable for small and medium installations where stable and straightforward storage is desired.
Alarm and audio
The recorder has 4 alarm inputs and 1 alarm output, so it can be connected with other security equipment. In addition, audio in and out as well as two-way audio are supported.
This makes it possible to integrate the recorder into a larger alarm system or use audio together with video.
Access from anywhere in the world
It's very easy to access both "live" and "playback" from home, the office, the summer house and the rest of the world. It supports:
- An app for iPhone and iPad.
- An app for Android (phones and tablets).
- PC (both via web interface and VMS software).
- Mac (VMS software).
- Local displays via HDMI output in 4K resolution.
You don't even need to open ports on your router or have a fixed IP address — just scan the QR code with your app.
