AXIS camera with AI-based video and audio analysis

The M1075-L Mk II has a built-in Deep Learning Processing Unit, which makes it possible to analyze video directly in the camera. At the same time, the Mk II version includes AXIS Audio Analytics, which can analyze sounds and be used as another way to detect events.

AI detection of people and vehicles

With AXIS Object Analytics, the camera can detect and classify people and vehicles. Vehicles can, among other things, be divided into cars, buses, trucks, and bicycles.

You can use the analysis for line crossing, detection of objects in a specific area, counting at a line, and detecting how many objects are in an area. The camera supports up to 10 analytic scenarios.

AXIS Audio Analytics detects selected sounds

The Mk II version has AXIS Audio Analytics built in. The camera can analyze sound levels and detect sudden changes in sound, as well as classify specific types of sound.

It can detect, among other things, screams, shouts, breaking glass, speech, and coughing. The audio analysis can be combined with the camera’s video analysis, so both sound and image can be used to detect relevant events.

Two-way communication with microphone and speaker

The camera has built-in microphones and a speaker and supports full duplex two-way communication. This means you can both hear what’s happening at the camera and talk back through the camera’s speaker.

The camera also has echo reduction and voice enhancement, which help make communication clearer.

PIR sensor detects motion

In addition to video analysis, the camera has a built-in PIR motion sensor with a range of up to 7 meters.

The PIR sensor reacts to infrared heat and can therefore detect motion even when the area is completely dark.

OptimizedIR for surveillance in the dark

AXIS M1075-L Mk II has built-in OptimizedIR with 850 nm IR LED. The range is stated as 18 meters or more, depending on the area and conditions.

The camera has automatic day/night function with a mechanical IR filter and can deliver images at 0 lux when the IR illumination is switched on.

Wide 103° viewing angle

The fixed 3.16 mm lens provides a horizontal viewing angle of 103° and a vertical viewing angle of 55°. This gives a broad overview and makes the camera well suited for offices, reception areas, shops, and entrance areas.

How far can the camera see?

The camera’s DORI distance is stated as 42 meters for detection, 16 meters for observation, 8 meters for recognition, and 4 meters for identification.

DORI describes how much image detail is available at different distances. The actual performance depends, among other things, on lighting conditions, movement, compression, and the camera’s placement.

WDR up to 120 dB

WDR helps the camera handle areas where there is a large difference between the bright and dark parts of the image. This can, for example, be at an entrance or a window with strong daylight. The camera supports WDR up to 120 dB depending on the scene.

AXIS Live Privacy Shield

AXIS Live Privacy Shield makes it possible to automatically mask or blur selected parts of the image. This can, for example, be used for people, license plates, or specific areas in the image where privacy needs to be protected.

Supports SD cards and network storage

The camera supports local recording on SD cards and can encrypt the card with AES-XTS-Plain64 256-bit encryption.

Recordings can also be saved on compatible network storage, for example a NAS.

Zipstream reduces storage needs

AXIS Zipstream is designed to reduce the amount of data that needs to be stored and sent over the network, while keeping important details in the video image. This can reduce the need for both storage space and network capacity.

AXIS Edge Vault

The camera has AXIS Edge Vault, which is Axis' hardware-based platform for protecting the camera and its data. It includes Secure Boot, secure storage of encryption keys, an encrypted file system, and Signed Video.

The Mk II version also has the Axis Cryptographic Module with FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certification.

PoE makes installation easier

AXIS M1075-L Mk II supports PoE, so both power and network connection can run through the same network cable. The camera has a typical power consumption of 5.4 W and a maximum power consumption of 12.95 W.

HDMI and connection of external equipment

The camera has Micro-HDMI and an I/O terminal with one alarm input and one output. This makes it possible to integrate the camera with other equipment and different types of installations.

For indoor use

AXIS M1075-L Mk II is IP40-rated and designed for indoor installation. The camera can operate at temperatures from 0 °C to +35 °C and measures only 105 × 60 × 93 mm.

Power over Ethernet

Do like the professionals. POE means that only one cable is needed for the camera. The camera gets power through the network cable, typically from a recorder with built-in PoE, or from a POE switch.
