Smart small wireless surveillance camera

This smart little "cube" camera is designed to give you a quick overview and clear details at home, in an association, or at your business. The speaker, microphone, wireless and wired network support, built-in night vision, and Full HD resolution make this camera ideal, whether you want to talk to the dog, verify a burglary alarm, or simply keep an extra eye on your home.

The camera is relatively discreet and very flexible, as it comes with a power supply and can therefore easily be moved around the house, as long as the WiFi coverage is sufficient.

Full HD resolution with a wide viewing angle

The camera has a 2 MP CMOS image sensor that delivers video in Full HD resolution at 1920 x 1080 pixels with up to 30 frames per second. This gives you a clear and smooth image, so you can follow what’s happening in the area the camera is monitoring. The fixed 2.8 mm lens has a horizontal viewing angle of 110.1°, making the camera well suited to covering a large part of a typical room from a single position.

The wide viewing angle is especially practical in a living room, hallway, reception area, or a small office, where you want a good overview without installing several cameras. The camera also has an adjustable three-axis design, so you can fine-tune the camera angle during installation.

Wi-Fi makes installation more flexible

C1L-2WN-G has built-in Wi-Fi and supports wireless networks on 2.4 GHz according to IEEE 802.11b/g/n. That means the camera can connect to your wireless network without a network cable between the camera and router, giving you greater freedom to choose the right placement.

The camera also has a standard 100 Mbps network port if you prefer a wired network connection. Whichever connection you choose, the camera must be powered by 5V DC, as the Wi-Fi connection does not replace the need for power.

Talk and listen through the camera

With both a built-in microphone and speaker, C1L-2WN-G supports two-way communication. This makes it possible to both hear sounds from the area around the camera and speak back through the speaker using compatible software.

For example, this can be useful if you want to communicate with someone in the room, talk to someone at an entrance, or simply be able to hear what’s going on. Since both the microphone and speaker are built in, you don’t need to connect separate audio equipment to use the camera’s audio functions.

Infrared night vision up to 10 meters

The camera has built-in infrared illumination with a range of up to 10 meters, so it can also record in the dark. When lighting conditions change, the camera’s automatic IR-cut filter switches between day and night mode so the image adapts to the surroundings. In the dark, infrared illumination is used, producing a black-and-white night image.

Smart IR helps adjust the infrared illumination so subjects close to the camera are not unnecessarily overexposed. This is especially practical in smaller rooms, where people may come relatively close to the camera.

Intelligent detection of people and movement

C1L-2WN-G supports both standard motion detection and human body detection. This makes it possible to use the camera for more targeted surveillance, where events involving people are especially relevant. The camera also supports sound detection and an alarm in case of camera tampering.

These functions can be useful if, for example, you want to monitor activity in a hallway, office, or another room where people normally should not be present at certain times. The specific alarm and notification options depend on the software and setup the camera is used with.

Save recordings directly to a microSD card

The camera has room for a microSD card of up to 128 GB, so recordings can be stored directly in the camera. This makes C1L-2WN-G well suited for smaller surveillance setups where you want local storage without investing in a separate network recorder.

How long recordings can be stored depends, among other things, on video quality, compression, and recording settings. If you need a larger overall surveillance system, the camera’s network functions may also be relevant when used with compatible recording equipment.

Efficient video compression saves storage space

The camera supports Ultra 265, H.265, H.264, and MJPEG, so video compression can be adapted to different needs for image quality, network load, and storage. In particular, Ultra 265 and H.265 can help reduce the amount of data that needs to be transmitted and stored compared with older compression methods. This is an advantage when the camera uses Wi-Fi or stores recordings on a microSD card with limited capacity.

The camera also supports two video streams, so it can, for example, provide a Full HD stream and a separate stream in 720p. This makes it possible to use different video qualities depending on how the image should be displayed or recorded.

Compact design for discreet indoor placement

With dimensions of 77 x 42 x 125 mm and a weight of just 140 grams, C1L-2WN-G is a compact camera that is easy to place in smaller rooms. It can, for example, be used to monitor an entrance hall, a home office, a reception area, or other indoor spaces where you want a good overview without a large camera.

The camera is designed to operate at temperatures from -10 °C to +40 °C. The datasheet does not list an IP rating for protection against water and dust, so the camera should be used in dry, protected environments.
