High resolution, audio, light and intelligent analytics in one camera

The camera combines high image resolution with intelligent analytics. That makes it well suited for monitoring areas where both detail and accurate event detection matter.

8MP resolution delivers more detail

The camera records at up to 8 megapixels. That gives a very sharp image where you can see more details than at lower resolutions.
The high resolution is especially useful in larger areas, where you can zoom into recordings and still retain image detail.

ColorHunter delivers color in low light

ColorHunter is a technology that makes it possible to get color images even in very low-light situations. Normally a surveillance camera will switch to black and white at night because there's not enough light to show colors. With ColorHunter, the camera can often continue to show color much further into the dark.

The technology is based on a combination of a larger, more light-sensitive image sensor and advanced image processing in the camera. The sensor can capture more light from the surroundings while the camera's image processor works to amplify and enhance the picture without creating too much noise.

The result is that you can see details like the color of clothing, cars or objects in situations where an ordinary camera would typically only show a black-and-white image.

In practice, this means the camera can deliver usable color footage from faint street lighting, building lights or other small light sources in the area. If there is absolutely no light, the camera's built-in illumination can still make the scene visible.

Intelligent detection of people and vehicles

The camera can analyze motion in the image and distinguish between people, vehicles and other types of objects. That means the camera doesn't just register motion, it also tries to understand what is moving in the scene.

With ordinary motion detection many things can trigger an alert, for example rain, leaves, animals or changes in light. With intelligent analytics the camera can better filter these out and instead focus on people and vehicles.

This allows you to set up more precise rules for monitoring. For example, you can choose to receive a notification only if a person or a car moves into a specific area, while other types of motion are ignored.

The result is fewer unnecessary alarms and a system that's easier to work with day to day. At the same time it's also easier to find relevant events in recordings, because the system can save and sort detections by object type.

People counting and crowd density analysis

The camera can count people passing a specific point and analyze how many people are present in an area.
This can be used for statistics in shops, receptions or other places where you want an overview of foot traffic.

Built-in microphone and speaker

The camera has both a microphone and a speaker built in. That means you can record audio together with video, and you can communicate through the camera via the system.
It can be used to talk to people near the camera or to play sounds depending on the setup.

Strobe light on events

The camera can turn on a powerful LED light when an event is detected. The light works as a strobe that clearly signals the area is being monitored.
When the camera detects a person or vehicle in a defined area, it can automatically activate the light. This illuminates the scene so the camera can capture color images while also drawing attention to the camera's presence.

The light often affects people entering the area because looking toward the light is a natural reaction. That can increase the chance of getting a clear image of a face.

At the same time the light improves recordings by illuminating the scene at the moment the event occurs. This makes it easier to see details like clothing, colors and objects in the footage.
You can choose whether the light should be active continuously, only at night or only for specific events.

Night illumination up to 40 meters

The camera has both infrared and white LED illumination with a range of up to 40 meters. This ensures the camera can capture clear images even in darkness.
Depending on the setup, the camera can operate with discreet infrared lighting or use white light to get color recordings at night.

Recording to NVR or SD card

The camera can record directly to a recorder in the system, but it can also store footage on a microSD card in the camera. The card can be up to 512 GB.
This gives flexibility in installation and the option for local recording if the camera is used without a recorder.

Accessories

Accessories for the camera include junction boxes, corner mounts and pole mounts. These brackets are typically used to protect cable connections or to mount the camera on walls, corners or poles.
