8 MP Smart-Turret with motorized zoom

The camera combines 8 MP image quality with a motorized lens that can be adjusted directly from the camera’s interface or a compatible recorder. This means you can change the field of view after installation without having to open the camera.

With the wide setting, you get a broad overview of the area. When zoomed in, the image becomes more focused around the selected zone.

8 MP delivers a high level of detail

The camera records at up to 3840 × 2160 pixels. The high resolution makes it easier to see people, vehicles, and other details in the recordings.

It also gives you better options for enlarging parts of the image during later review, without the details disappearing as quickly as they would at lower resolutions.

Up to 25 frames per second at 8 MP

The camera can record at up to 25 frames per second at full 8 MP resolution. At lower resolutions, it supports up to 30 frames per second.

This provides smooth recordings of everyday activity at entrances, parking areas, warehouses, and other monitored zones.

Motorized zoom

The lens can be adjusted from 2.8 to 12 mm. This corresponds to a horizontal field of view from around 111.5° to 34.4°.

You can therefore choose between a wide overview or a narrower image with more detail at longer distances. Adjustment is made electronically via the system.

IR and warm LED light

The camera has both infrared light and warm LED light with a range of up to 40 meters.

IR provides black-and-white recordings in the dark, while the LED light can be used to preserve color in the recordings. The light can be controlled automatically or manually depending on the needs of the installation.

Color recordings in low light

The light-sensitive image sensor can deliver color images in very limited lighting. This means the camera can keep colors for longer before switching to night recording.

This is an advantage in areas with street lighting, wall lights, or other weak background lighting.

Clear images in backlight

The camera can handle large differences between bright and dark areas in the same image. This gives more usable recordings at gates, entrances, and windows, among other places.

People and vehicles are therefore easier to see, even when the background is much brighter than the subject.

Human and vehicle detection

The camera can distinguish between people, vehicles, and non-motorized vehicles. This reduces the number of alarms triggered by things like birds, leaves, and changes in light.

You get a more manageable alarm history with greater focus on relevant events.

Line crossing and area detection

The camera supports detection of line crossing, intrusion, and movement into or out of a defined area.

For example, you can receive an alarm if a person crosses a specific boundary or moves into a restricted area.

Ultra Motion Detection

Ultra Motion Detection analyzes movement more precisely than standard motion detection.

This feature helps filter out irrelevant events and makes it easier to find recordings with real activity.

People Counting

The camera can count how many people pass through a specific passage.

This feature can be used for visitor statistics, capacity measurement, and analysis of people flow in places such as stores, offices, and public buildings.

Crowd Density

The camera can monitor how many people are staying in a specific area.

It can be used to detect high crowd density and help with capacity management or staffing plans.

Built-in microphone

The built-in microphone can record sound together with video. Audio recording can provide extra information about an event and make it easier to understand what happened.

Three video streams

The camera supports three separate video streams. They can be set with different resolutions and qualities for different purposes.

For example, the main stream can be used for high-quality recording, while a smaller stream is used for remote viewing.

Efficient video compression

Ultra H.265 reduces the need for storage space and network bandwidth. The camera also supports H.265, H.264, and MJPEG.

This makes it possible to adjust compression to the recorder, the network, and the desired retention time.

Local storage on microSD card

The camera supports microSD cards up to 512 GB. Recordings can therefore be stored directly in the camera.

Local storage can be used as primary recording in smaller installations or as backup in the event of network failure.

ANR in case of network failure

With ANR, the camera can continue saving recordings locally if the connection to a compatible Uniview recorder is interrupted.

When the connection is restored, the missing recordings can be transferred to the recorder.

NAS support

The camera can store recordings on a compatible network storage via NFS.

This makes it possible to combine local storage, NVR, and NAS in the same installation.

9:16 corridor mode

The camera supports vertical 9:16 viewing for narrow areas such as corridors, hallways, and entrances.

The vertical format uses more pixels on the surveillance area itself and fewer on walls or other parts of the image.

ONVIF and system integration

The camera supports ONVIF Profile S, G, T, and M as well as API and SDK.

It can therefore be integrated with compatible recorders and video platforms from different manufacturers.

PoE or 12 V power supply

The camera can be powered via PoE or 12 V DC. With PoE, both power and network run through the same cable.

The maximum power consumption is 8 W.

Outdoor protection

The camera is IP67 rated and protected against rain and dust. It can be used at temperatures from minus 30 °C to 60 °C.

The metal housing can be used both indoors and outdoors.

IK10 vandal resistance

The IK10 rating means the camera is resistant to strong impacts and physical force.

This makes the model relevant for parking garages, schools, public buildings, and other exposed areas.

Protection against power surges

The camera has built-in protection against power surges of up to 4 kV.

In particularly exposed installations, it may still be relevant to supplement with external surge protection.
