8MP Tri-Guard bullet with motorized zoom
The camera is designed for installations where you want high resolution combined with the ability to adjust the field of view after mounting. The camera features 8 megapixels, giving you a detailed image that makes identification easier.
The built-in motorized zoom means you can adjust the framing directly from your phone or computer without touching the camera. That makes installation and fine-tuning much easier.
Motorized 2.8–12 mm lens
The camera has a motorized varifocal lens that can be adjusted from wide angle to a narrower view. At 2.8 mm you get a broad overview of the area, while 12 mm lets you focus more on distant details.
This means you can precisely adapt the camera to your driveway, courtyard or facade — even after it’s installed. You don’t have to climb a ladder and turn the lens manually.
Note that optical zoom only applies to live view. Once something is recorded, you cannot optically zoom into the recording; that will be digital zoom.
ColorHunter and improved low-light sensitivity
The camera uses ColorHunter technology and an F1.2 lens, which lets in more light than conventional lenses. That means the camera can deliver color images in very low-light situations.
In practice, this gives more usable footage at dusk and at night, where color can be crucial for identifying people or vehicles.
Dual light – IR and white light
The camera has both infrared illumination and white light with a range of up to 40 meters.
You can choose whether the camera records discreetly in black-and-white with IR, or whether it should automatically turn on white light when motion is detected and provide color recordings. This gives you the option of either discreet surveillance or a visible response.
The white light can also act preventively, clearly indicating that activity has been detected.
Human and vehicle detection
The camera can distinguish between people, vehicles and general motion. That means you only receive alerts when something relevant actually happens.
You can set rules like line crossing or intrusion into an area, and choose to react only to people or vehicles. This reduces false alarms from animals, leaves and changes in lighting.
Correct placement and adjustment affect accuracy. When the camera is mounted correctly, it provides much more useful everyday surveillance.
Built-in audio
The camera has a built-in microphone and speaker, so you can both record audio and communicate through the camera. It can be used to speak to visitors or to make people aware that the area is monitored.
People counting and area analysis
The camera can be used to analyze how many people move through an area. For example, you can set up a virtual line and register how many pass in and out.
In addition, the camera can measure how many people occupy a specific area at the same time. This can provide an overview of activity and load in entrances, courtyards or small commercial areas.
The feature requires correct placement and adjustment of the camera to provide reliable data. When set up properly, it can give a useful picture of patterns and movement over time.
Visible strobe light on events
The camera has a built-in white strobe light that can be activated when people or vehicles are detected in a defined area.
When an event is triggered, the camera can flash the light as a clear indication that activity has been registered. This makes surveillance more visible and can have a preventive effect.
You can choose whether the light should activate automatically for certain events, remain on constantly in the dark, or be completely disabled. This lets you adapt the solution to the surroundings.
Auto Scene Match (ASM)
Auto Scene Match helps the camera automatically adjust image settings to the environment. This means the camera continuously adjusts parameters like white balance and contrast so the image remains stable.
In practice, this provides a more consistent image in situations where lighting conditions change during the day — for example when sunlight alternates with clouds or with artificial lighting in the evening.
It reduces the need for manual fine-tuning and ensures more usable images over time.
9:16 corridor mode
The camera supports 9:16 viewing, also called corridor mode. This means the image can be rotated to better fit narrow areas.
This feature is especially useful in hallways, driveways, passages or along buildings, where a traditional wide image would contain a lot of unnecessary area.
By rotating the image you get a more efficient use of resolution and more detail where it matters.
Alarm input and output
The camera has alarm input and output, which means it can be connected to external equipment.
For example, you can connect a sensor to the camera so recording or lights activate upon trigger. Conversely, the camera can also send a signal to other equipment when an event occurs.
This makes it possible to integrate the camera as part of a complete security solution.
IP67 and IK10 protection
The camera is rated IP67, which means it is protected against dust and heavy rain. It is therefore suitable for outdoor installations.
The IK10 rating means the camera housing is resistant to impact and vandalism. This can be relevant where the camera is mounted at low height or in public areas.
The combination makes the camera suitable for installations that require both weather resistance and physical robustness.
130 dB WDR and backlight handling
With 130 dB WDR the camera can handle strong backlight, for example at entrances with sunlight behind the subject.
This means people in the foreground appear clearly even when the background is very bright.
Recording and storage
The camera can be connected to an NVR recorder, where recordings are stored centrally with other cameras in the system. This is the most common solution if you want a unified overview and longer storage times.
In addition, the camera supports a microSD card up to 512 GB, so it can also record directly on the camera.
You can choose to use one of the solutions or both at the same time. If the camera records to both NVR and SD card, the SD card acts as extra backup if the network is temporarily interrupted or if the recorder is unavailable.
