Network recorder for video surveillance

Dahua NVR4108-8P-EI is an 8-channel network recorder designed for small to medium surveillance installations. The recorder receives video from IP cameras, stores recordings on a hard drive and lets you view live footage and play back recordings.

The built-in PoE ports make installation easy because the cameras can get both power and network through the same cable.

 

8 built-in PoE ports

The recorder has eight PoE ports, allowing you to connect up to eight cameras directly to the recorder.
That means you don’t need a separate PoE switch. The cameras receive both power and network connection through the same cable, making installation cleaner and simpler.

 

AI search in recordings

The recorder supports intelligent search functions that let you analyze recordings and find specific events.
This helps you quickly locate times when people or vehicles were in the area without having to watch long video files.

 

Face recognition

The recorder supports face recognition, which can identify people using a face database.
The system can store up to 20,000 face images and compare them with people captured by the cameras.
This allows you to receive alerts or search recordings based on specific individuals.

 

Perimeter protection

Perimeter protection is used to detect movement in defined areas, for example if someone crosses a line or enters a zone.
The system can distinguish between people and vehicles, which reduces false alarms from things like animals, leaves or shadows.

 

SMD Smart Motion Detection

SMD analyzes motion in the image and can distinguish between people, vehicles and other types of movement.
That makes it easier for you to find the moments when people or cars actually appear in the recordings.

 

Supports cameras up to 16 MP

The recorder can be used with IP cameras up to 16 megapixel resolution. That makes it compatible with both standard cameras and more advanced models.
