8-channel NVR with PoE and extra power
NVR501-08B-P8 is a compact and reliable network recorder for smaller and medium-sized surveillance setups. With eight PoE ports, you can connect IP cameras directly without extra power supplies or a PoE switch. The recorder supports up to 8MP resolution and modern compression (Ultra265/H.265), which saves storage space and gives you longer recording time per hard drive.
It is compatible with ONVIF and RTSP, so you can use cameras from several manufacturers. With HDMI and VGA outputs, you can connect a monitor directly, or view everything via app or computer. Perfect for both private homes and businesses.
8 PoE ports – cameras get both power and network through one cable
The recorder has eight built-in PoE ports, each of which can deliver up to 30W per channel.
That means:
- No extra PoE switch
- Fast installation
- Cameras start automatically when connected
The total PoE output is 75W, which suits most standard and Pro cameras.
Supports up to 8MP cameras
The recorder is a powerful NVR that can easily handle and decode many high-resolution cameras at once. It supports up to 8MP (4K) per channel, giving you sharp images and full flexibility. You can freely mix different camera types — for example 2MP, 4MP, and 8MP — without compromising performance.
Ultra265/H.265 – longer recording time without an extra drive
With Ultra265 and H.265 compression, the recorder can significantly reduce storage usage without compromising image quality. That means:
- Longer recording time
- Less network load
- Better streaming over mobile connections
ANR – security in case of network failure
If a camera supports ANR (Automatic Network Replenishment), it can store recordings on its SD card during a network outage and automatically send them back to the recorder when the connection is restored.
That ensures no recordings are lost.
Hard drive – space for up to 8 TB
The recorder has room for one SATA hard drive (not included unless stated in the package).
With up to 8 TB, you get:
- Plenty of storage
- Long retention period
- Option for both continuous and event-based recording
HDMI and VGA output – view live footage directly on a monitor
You can connect the recorder to a screen if you want local viewing.
HDMI supports up to 4K (3840×2160).
That makes setup and everyday monitoring easy, especially in stores and office environments.
Supports most cameras – ONVIF and RTSP
The recorder is compatible with:
- Uniview cameras
- ONVIF cameras (Profile S, G, T)
- RTSP streams
That means you can mix cameras from different manufacturers if you want.
Smart features via the cameras
The recorder can receive intelligent events from cameras, including:
- Line crossing
- Intrusion
- Area monitoring
- Object left behind
- Scene change detection
- Auto-tracking (if the camera supports it)
- Smart Motion Detection (SMD)
- People counting (report view in the recorder)
The camera performs the analysis — the recorder receives and handles the alerts.
User-friendly app – quick access to live images
- View live footage
- Play back recordings
- Get notifications for alarms
- Manage cameras
In addition, you can view the system via PC client or browser.
