Person and vehicle detection
With the camera's built-in analytics, it can distinguish between people and vehicles. You can choose whether you want standard motion-triggered recordings, which can include trees and bushes moving in the wind, or only recordings that contain people and vehicles. You can even set how large or small objects must be to be detected. That means you can define how close something must be to be captured.
A cool and quite unique feature of this camera is the options to configure it exactly how you want in a single device. Infrared night vision, which can't be seen by the human eye, or white light that gives you vibrant color images at night—you choose.
But it gets even better: the camera can run its invisible (IR) night vision at night, so it neither reveals its position nor disturbs the neighbors. When a person or vehicle enters your property (or the area you have marked), it switches to white light.
This gives three great benefits to your security solution
- You get color on the subject, so it's not just a gray man getting out of a gray car, but a range of details that can be extremely valuable for investigations.
- The person will most likely look toward the camera when the bright light turns on, as it's a natural reaction and increases the chance of a good face image.
- There is a strong preventive effect when the camera signals and indicates that it is reacting to an event.
Remember, this can be combined with push notifications to your phone or sending a signal to a relay, etc.
Built-in microphone and speaker
The camera almost lets you be present without actually being there. The built-in microphone can record all sounds around the camera and you can even listen live in real time. This feature is great for assessing events outside the camera's field of view, and it also has high investigative value since you might capture accents or names on recordings.
The built-in speaker also adds value. It can play some of the included sound files, like a siren, but the preloaded voice messages aren't great, so it's handy that you can upload your own messages and audio files. You can even speak through the camera directly from your smartphone. The speaker is 1 watt, so it's not extremely loud, but it's clearly audible.
An APP that really works
The app is super simple and user-friendly. Directly from the app you can add and change rules, such as intrusion and line crossing. You can of course also view live and rewind.
The layout is designed to be easy to use.

With the Uniview app you can easily follow along on your PC or Mac. The user interface is very user-friendly, making it easy to view live, rewind and extract files.
Powerful NVR recorder with room for more
The recorder, NVR501-08B-P8, has built-in PoE, so it supplies both power and network to the cameras via a single cable. It can handle up to 8 cameras in total, so you can later expand with four additional cameras. With its powerful processor it can also handle decoding multiple cameras at the same time.
We can program it for you
A big advantage of the system is that we can configure it remotely. That means you can do the physical installation yourself, or have an electrician pull the cables – and then we can handle programming the system via the computer afterwards. This way you avoid costs for an on-site technician and can be sure your system works.
