DH-SD5A445GB-HNR is an advanced PTZ camera designed for monitoring large areas where you want both an overview and the ability to zoom in on distant details. PTZ means the camera can pan, tilt and zoom to focus on objects.

The camera is typically used in larger installations such as industrial areas, ports, parking lots, construction sites and other locations where surveillance must cover wide areas.

Optical zoom

The camera has a powerful motorized lens with 45x optical zoom. Optical zoom means the camera adjusts the lens to zoom in on the subject, so the image stays sharp even when you zoom in a long way.

This makes it possible to monitor wide areas while still being able to focus on details like people or vehicles at a distance.

PTZ control

PTZ stands for pan, tilt and zoom. The camera can rotate 360 degrees and tilt up and down, so you can change the camera angle directly from your phone or recorder.
You can also save preset positions. The camera can then quickly move to those positions or automatically patrol between them.

Auto tracking

Auto tracking lets the camera automatically follow a moving object. When a person or vehicle is detected, the camera can pan and zoom so the object stays in frame.
This gives better coverage of incidents because the camera keeps focus on what’s moving.

Starlight night performance

Starlight technology makes the camera very light-sensitive. That means it can show colors and details in very low-light situations.
You therefore get a clear image in environments with limited lighting, for example parking areas, industrial zones or warehouses.

IR night illumination

Person and vehicle detection

It reduces the number of unnecessary alarms from, for example, animals, leaves or shadows.

Face detection

The camera can detect faces in the image and save snapshots when a face is registered. This feature is often used at entrances or in areas where identifying people may be relevant.

SMD, smart motion detection

SMD analyzes motion in the image and tries to identify what is actually moving. That way the camera can filter out many false alarms.
The feature focuses primarily on people and vehicles.

Quick Pick and AcuPick

When the camera is used with a compatible Dahua recorder, the system can help you quickly find people or vehicles in recordings.
The system analyzes the video and highlights clips where relevant objects appear, so you don’t have to manually sift through long footage.

Image stabilization and defog

The camera includes features that improve the image in challenging conditions. Image stabilization reduces shake, and defog can enhance visibility in fog or haze.

SD card recording

The camera supports microSD cards up to 512 GB, so you can store recordings directly on the camera. This can be used as local storage or as a backup.
