Hikvision DS-2CD2787G2H-LIPTRZS2U/SL is a professional 8 MP dome camera with ColorVu, motorized PTRZ function and Smart Hybrid Light. The camera delivers color images day and night and makes installation and later adjustments significantly easier, since the field of view and camera direction can be adjusted directly from software without physical access to the camera.

8 MP ColorVu with motorized PTRZ
The camera records in up to 8 MP resolution (3840 × 2160) and combines high image quality with ColorVu technology, which delivers color recordings around the clock.
The large 1/1.8" CMOS sensor and F1.2 aperture lens ensure high light sensitivity, so the camera can capture detailed images even in very limited lighting.
Motorized PTRZ makes installation easier
DS-2CD2787G2H-LIPTRZS2U/SL is equipped with motorized PTRZ (Pan, Tilt, Rotate and Zoom), which makes it possible to adjust the camera direction and field of view directly via browser, software or NVR.
The PTRZ function is designed for installation and service, so the installer can fine-tune the camera position without physical access to a ladder or lift. This makes both the initial setup and later changes faster and more flexible.
It is important to note that PTRZ does not work like a traditional PTZ camera. The camera monitors one fixed area, and the motors are intended for occasional adjustment of the camera position – not for continuous remote control or patrolling. The system supports up to 1,000 remote adjustments.
Motorized zoom 2.8-12 mm
The motorized 2.8-12 mm lens makes it possible to adapt the field of view for both wide overview images and more detailed surveillance.
In wide-angle mode, you get a horizontal field of view of up to 112.3°, while the tele setting allows surveillance over longer distances.
ColorVu gives color images day and night
ColorVu technology makes it possible to record in color around the clock, even in very low light.
This makes it easier to identify people, vehicles, clothing colors and other details that can be difficult to see in traditional black-and-white night recordings.
Smart Hybrid Light
The camera combines infrared light and white light with Smart Hybrid Light technology.
During normal night surveillance, the camera can use IR illumination. When a relevant event is detected, the white light can turn on automatically so the camera captures color images with more detail.
The illumination has a range of up to 40 meters.
AcuSense reduces false alarms
The built-in AcuSense technology uses deep learning to distinguish between people, vehicles and other movement.
This reduces the number of unnecessary alarms from, for example, animals, rain, leaves or shadows and makes the events more relevant.
The camera supports line crossing, intrusion, area entry and area exit with classification of people and vehicles, among other functions.
Face detection
The camera supports face detection, which can be used for automatic registration of people in the surveillance area.
The function can be used together with compatible Hikvision solutions for advanced analysis tasks.
130 dB WDR
With 130 dB Wide Dynamic Range, the camera delivers clear images in areas with large differences in lighting.
This makes the camera well suited for entrances, gates, loading docks and other places with strong backlight.
Built-in audio
The camera is equipped with two built-in array microphones that record audio in high quality.
In addition, there is a built-in speaker as well as external audio input and audio output, so the system can be expanded with additional audio equipment as needed.
Active deterrence
The SL version has a built-in white flashing light and speaker.
When an event is detected, the camera can activate the flashing light and sound warning, making people in the area aware of the surveillance.
Local recording
The camera has a built-in microSD slot with support for memory cards up to 512 GB.
It can record locally or be used together with a compatible Hikvision NVR or NAS solution.
IP66 and IK10
The camera is IP66 rated against dust and rain and IK10 vandal resistant, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations.
The model does not have special corrosion protection and is therefore not recommended for environments with heavy salt-laden air or chemical exposure, such as harbors, coastal installations or chemical plants.
