PoE for both power and network
The switch delivers power directly over the network cable to your cameras. That means you don’t need a separate power supply at each camera.
You can connect up to 8 PoE cameras directly to the switch. Ports 1 and 2 support Hi-PoE with up to 90 W, making them suitable for power-hungry devices like PTZ cameras. The remaining ports provide up to 30 W per port for standard IP cameras.
That gives you a simple installation and fewer cables.
Smart network management
The switch is a smart managed model, which means you can monitor and manage it via a web interface or Hikvision software.
You can, among other things, view port status, monitor bandwidth, see PoE power consumption, and get an overview of the network topology. That makes it easier to understand how devices in the installation are connected.
You can also reboot ports or connected devices directly from the system if needed.
Automatic camera reboot
The switch has a feature called PoE watchdog. It monitors connected cameras and continuously checks whether they are responding correctly.
If a camera stops responding, the switch can automatically reboot the power to that port. The camera will restart without you needing physical access to the installation.
That can save time on operation and service, especially in installations where the equipment is hard to reach.
Up to 300 meters PoE range
The switch supports long-range PoE, allowing cameras to be connected with up to 300 meters of network cable.
The longer reach can be an advantage in larger buildings, warehouses, or outdoor installations where the distance to the equipment cabinet would otherwise require extra hardware.
The exact range depends on cable type and camera.
Stable network for surveillance
The switch supports features like VLAN, STP, and RSTP. These are used to ensure stable network communication and avoid issues such as network loops.
Additionally, it has built-in 6 kV surge protection, which helps protect equipment from voltage spikes caused by lightning or electrical disturbances.
This provides more stable operation in surveillance installations.
