PoE extender for longer cable distances
Dahua PFT1300 is a PoE extender used to extend the reach of network cables in surveillance installations. It receives power and network from a PoE switch or PoE injector and passes it on to the camera through a new cable.
This allows you to place cameras further away from networking equipment without having to install extra power supplies along the way.
Extends PoE connection
A PoE extender acts as an intermediary between the switch and the camera. It receives power and network over one cable and sends it on to the next device.
That means you can extend the installation without changing the rest of the network.
Option for multiple cameras on the same cable
The PFT1300 makes it possible to connect multiple cameras on the same cable run. The extender can forward power and network to both a camera and to a new extender.
That means you can place several cameras along the same cable — for example along a building, a fence, or a parking lot. It can reduce the need to run multiple cables back to the switch.
It makes the installation more flexible and can save both cabling and installation time in larger surveillance systems.
PoE up to 300 meters
When the extender is used together with compatible Dahua PoE devices, you can achieve a total cable distance of up to 300 meters.
This allows you to install cameras over larger areas, for example along buildings, parking lots or larger outdoor spaces.
Support for daisy-chaining
Multiple PoE extenders can be connected in series. This way the installation can be expanded if cameras are located far from the network equipment.
It gives you flexibility in installations where cabling can't always be kept within standard network distances.
Three network ports
The unit has three network ports. One port receives PoE power and network, one port passes the connection on to a camera, and one port can forward power and data to a new extender.
