Visual verification of Ajax system alarms
NVR HAC supports a scenario in which events triggered by Ajax detectors automatically highlight the corresponding camera feed on the video wall. This allows for immediate intrusion verification by the operator.

Ajax NVR for 8 cameras with HDMI output
The Ajax NVR HAC is an 8-channel network video recorder. It has a built-in HDMI output so live view and playback can be shown directly on a screen without extra equipment. At the same time it’s fully integrated with the rest of Ajax's products, bringing cameras, alarms and events together in one unified interface. That makes it ideal for locations where you want local monitoring as well as remote access via the app.
Supports 8 IP cameras up to 8 MP
The NVR HAC can connect up to eight IP cameras and supports resolutions up to 8 MP. It handles both high-resolution cameras and older models at lower resolutions.
HDMI output for direct screen viewing
The built-in HDMI output lets you connect a screen directly to the NVR. This provides live view and playback without using a PC, app or external decoder. Perfect for receptions, guard rooms, shops or offices.
Advanced video decoding
The recorder supports H.265, H.264 and Ajax’s own JetSparrow protocol. That ensures efficient compression, lower bandwidth use and smooth playback, even at high resolutions.
Built-in motion and object detection
The NVR HAC includes software for motion detection and AI-based object detection. You can choose whether the analysis is done by the camera or directly in the NVR. This gives greater flexibility and more consistent event handling across different camera models.

The NVR HAC can be used in scenarios with Ajax alarms. When a sensor is triggered, the relevant camera is automatically highlighted on the video wall. That provides immediate visual confirmation of alarms and helps reduce false dispatches.
ONVIF and RTSP compatibility
The recorder supports ONVIF Profile S and T as well as RTSP. This means both Ajax cameras and third-party cameras can be used in the same system, offering lots of freedom when choosing cameras.
Hard drive up to 16 TB
The NVR HAC has space for one 3.5” SATA hard drive with up to 16 TB capacity. That provides long recording history even at high resolution. The hard drive is not included, so you can choose the capacity according to your needs.
Stable network connection
The recorder connects via Ethernet at up to 100 Mbps. It has enough bandwidth to handle eight high-resolution cameras without bottlenecks.
Privacy and access control
Access to live view, recordings and settings can be managed individually for users, installers and monitoring stations. This ensures strong data security and full control over who has access to video.
Tamper alarm
If the device is tampered with or removed from the wall or the SmartBracket mount, a tamper alarm is triggered. The event is shown immediately in the Ajax app and logged in the system.
