IPC-HDW5442TM-ASE is an advanced turret camera in Dahua's WizMind series. It's designed for installations where you want not only a clear image but also features that make it easier to find relevant events and filter out the less important ones.
The camera suits businesses, entrances, courtyards, storage areas, common areas and other places where you want a stable camera with good image quality, clear night performance and several smart analytics features.
Fixed lens
The camera is available with a fixed 2.8 mm, 3.6 mm or 6 mm lens. That means you can choose the field of view that best fits the area you want to monitor. A shorter lens gives a wider overview, while a longer lens gives a more focused view.
This makes the camera flexible, since you can pick the model based on whether you want to monitor a wide driveway, a door, a goods area or a more confined spot further away.
Starlight night view
The camera uses a large, light-sensitive 1/1.8" sensor, which helps you get a clear image in low light. That means you can see more details during times when it's too dark for a standard camera but there's still some ambient light.
This is especially useful at entrances, parking areas, courtyards and other locations where there may be some street or scattered lighting but not enough for a standard camera to perform well.
IR night illumination
