8 MP dome camera with AcuSense
The camera records in up to 3840 × 2160 resolution and delivers highly detailed images. The high resolution makes it easier to identify people, vehicles, and events, while also giving you greater options for digital zoom in the recordings.
The dome design also provides extra protection for the camera in places where it is mounted within reach.
8 MP resolution
With 8 MP resolution, you get very sharp images with a high level of detail. This makes it easier to document घटन? events and recognize people or vehicles.
The high resolution is also an advantage when monitoring larger areas, where you may need to zoom in on recordings afterwards.
AcuSense with person and vehicle recognition
AcuSense uses intelligent image analysis to distinguish between people, vehicles, and other movement. This reduces the number of false alarms from things like animals, rain, leaves, or changing light conditions.
The camera supports, among other things, line crossing and intrusion detection, where alarms can be limited to people and vehicles.
Smart Hybrid Light
Smart Hybrid Light uses both infrared light and white light with a range of up to 30 meters. The camera can operate in several different light modes depending on the needs of the installation.
For regular night recording, the camera can use invisible infrared light. When a relevant person or vehicle is detected, the white light can be activated so the event is recorded in color.
Built-in dual microphone
The built-in dual microphone records sound together with the video and provides more complete documentation of events.
The integrated noise reduction helps suppress background noise and improves the quality of audio recordings.
120 dB True WDR
120 dB True WDR ensures a more balanced image in areas with strong differences in lighting, such as entrances, gates, or windows with strong backlight.
This makes it easier to preserve details in both bright and dark areas of the image.
Choice between 2.8 mm and 4 mm lens
The model is available with either a 2.8 mm or 4 mm lens. A 2.8 mm lens gives a wide viewing angle and is suitable for monitoring smaller areas and entrances.
A 4 mm lens gives a narrower viewing angle and is ideal when you want more focus on areas farther from the camera.
Local storage
The camera has space for a microSD card of up to 512 GB, so recordings can be saved directly in the camera.
It can also be used together with a Hikvision network recorder or network storage.
IP67 and IK10
IP67 protects the camera against dust and rain, while IK10 provides a high resistance to impact and vandalism. This makes the model suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations.
The camera does not have any special corrosion protection and is therefore not recommended for environments with heavy salty air or chemical exposure.
Why choose a turret camera outdoors?
Although dome cameras are very popular, we generally recommend a turret camera for most outdoor installations. Turret cameras are less affected by reflections from rain, snow, dust, and cobwebs, which can affect image quality, especially when the camera’s infrared night lighting is active.
A dome camera can be the right choice when extra protection against impact or a more discreet appearance is desired. That is why this type is often chosen for schools, shops, housing associations, and other places where the camera is mounted within reach.
