Hikvision DS-2CD2686G2-IZS combines 4K resolution, motorized zoom and DarkFighter technology with intelligent detection of people and vehicles.

The camera is designed for installations where both image detail and precise monitoring matter. You can adjust the field of view to suit the area and use AcuSense to focus on specific types of events.

It is especially well suited for commercial properties, parking lots, driveways and other areas where a standard fixed lens may not necessarily provide the desired viewing angle.

8 MP 4K resolution provides more detail

With 8 MP resolution, the camera records in 4K, giving significantly more image detail than a regular Full HD camera.

This is an advantage, for example, if you later want to digitally zoom in on a recording to examine an event more closely.

The camera records at up to 20 frames per second at full 8 MP resolution. At lower resolutions, it can deliver up to 25 frames per second at 50 Hz.

Motorized zoom from 2.8 to 12 mm

The camera’s motorized lens lets you adjust the field of view without having to change the lens manually.

At 2.8 mm, you get a wide horizontal viewing angle of about 108°, which is ideal for creating an overview of, for example, a driveway, parking lot or courtyard.

At 12 mm, the viewing angle becomes about 45.5°, so you can focus the image on a smaller area and capture more detail.

This is useful when the camera needs to be adapted to the specific installation and you want to make sure you get the right image framing.

DarkFighter delivers great images in low light

The camera is equipped with Hikvision’s DarkFighter technology, designed to deliver good images in limited lighting.

The large 1/1.8" image sensor and the lens with F1.4 aperture help the camera make the most of the available light.

This is useful, for example, in parking areas, entrances and storage yards where lighting may be limited in the evening and at night.

AcuSense - fewer unnecessary alarms

Hikvision AcuSense can distinguish between people and vehicles, so the camera can focus on the events that matter to your monitoring.

This means, for example, that you can set the camera to react when a person moves into a specific area, without every other movement necessarily triggering an alarm.

It helps reduce false alarms from things like leaves, animals and other movement in the surroundings.

Line crossing and intrusion detection

The camera supports several intelligent monitoring functions that can be adapted to the area you want to keep an eye on.

You can, for example, set up a virtual line at a driveway or define an area where the camera should detect people or vehicles.

The camera can react to line crossing, intrusion, and when someone enters or leaves a specific area.

This makes it possible to build a monitoring setup that fits the property’s specific access points and areas.

IR night image up to 60 meters

The camera has built-in infrared illumination, allowing you to monitor the area in the dark.

When the light level gets too low, the camera can automatically switch to black-and-white night mode with IR illumination up to 60 meters.

This is practical, for example, for larger driveways, parking areas and outdoor spaces where there is no constant lighting.

The actual distance at which people and other details can be recognized depends, among other things, on the zoom setting and the conditions on site.

Good images in backlight

The camera has WDR technology, which helps handle large differences between bright and dark areas in the image.

This is useful, for example, at entrances, gates and areas with strong sunlight, where parts of the image would otherwise become too dark or too bright.

Face capture

The camera supports face capture, also known as Face Capture, which makes it possible to detect and capture faces in the image.

This is not the same as facial recognition, where the camera identifies specific people from a database.

Option for external audio

The camera has an audio input and audio output for connecting compatible external audio equipment.

This gives you the option to add an external microphone or speaker if audio is needed in the surveillance solution.

Alarm input and alarm output

DS-2CD2686G2-IZS has an alarm input and alarm output, so the camera can be part of a solution with external alarm devices.
