4 MP bullet camera with analytics and IR

DS-2CD2T43G2-2I delivers images at up to 2688 × 1520 pixels and uses Hikvision's AcuSense technology to classify people and vehicles. This makes it possible to focus alerts on these targets instead of simply reacting to any movement in the image.

People and vehicle detection

The camera can distinguish people and vehicles from other movement through motion detection. People and vehicle classification is also supported with line crossing and intrusion detection.

For example, you can define a line or an area in the camera image and let the camera react when a person or a vehicle triggers the selected rule.

IR illumination up to 60 meters

The DS-2CD2T43G2-2I has built-in IR illumination with a range of up to 60 meters. This allows the camera to continue monitoring in darkness, where the image is shown in black and white.

This 2I version only has IR illumination. It does not have the white supplemental light found on other variants in the series.

Choose between 2.8 mm and 4 mm

The DS-2CD2T43G2-2I is available with three different fixed lenses, so you can choose the viewing angle based on the area you want to monitor.

2.8 mm provides an approximate 103° horizontal field of view and is suitable for a wide overview. 4 mm provides approximately 84° and a more focused image.

Better image in backlight

The camera handles areas with both strong light and dark sections, so the image becomes more balanced in places such as entrances, gates, and other areas with large differences in lighting.

The camera also supports BLC, HLC, and 3D DNR for additional image adjustment.

Face Detection

DS-2CD2T43G2-2I supports Face Detection, so the camera can detect when a face appears in the image.

Face Detection should not be confused with facial recognition. The datasheet does not state that the camera can identify specific people against a face database.

Supports SD cards up to 256 GB

The camera supports SD cards up to 256 GB, so recordings can be stored directly in the camera. In addition, network storage via NAS and Auto Network Replenishment (ANR) is supported.

H.265+ reduces storage use

The camera supports H.265+, H.265, H.264+, and H.264. H.265+ helps reduce the amount of video data and therefore the need for storage space and network bandwidth.

IP67 for outdoor installation

DS-2CD2T43G2-2I is IP67 rated against water and dust and can therefore be used outdoors. The camera housing is made of aluminum alloy, while the sun shield and IR cover are made of plastic.

The camera is specified to operate at temperatures from -30 °C to +60 °C.

PoE or 12 V DC

The camera can be powered by either 12 V DC or PoE according to IEEE 802.3af. With PoE, power and network connection can run through the same network cable.

Power over Ethernet

Do like the professionals. POE means that only one cable is needed for the camera. The camera gets power through the network cable, typically from a recorder with built-in PoE, or from a POE switch.

ANR

Avoid losing recordings with AutomaticNetwork R eplenishment.
If there are network problems, the camera stores the recordings on an SD- card - and then sends them to the recorder when the connection is stable again.
