På den måde behøver man kun at trække et enkelt kabel til hvert kamera - og skal ikke døje med 230V og små strømforsyninger.

Strømmen til kameraet leveres gennem netværkskablet fra enten...

  • en optager med indbygget PoE, også kaldet NVR. Et typisk valg for installationer op til og med 8 kameraer.
  • en PoE-switch. Populært fortalt en fordelerdåse til netværkskabler. Det typiske valg på store installationer eller hvis man ønsker fleksibel kabelføring.
  • en PoE-injector. Kan kun levere strøm til et kamera.

Af samme grund følger der ikke strømforsyning med PoE-kameraer. Du kan bestille en klassisk strømforsyning her, hvis du ikke ønsker at benytte PoE.

Thermal and optical monitoring in one camera

The camera includes both a 4MP optical sensor and a thermal sensor.

The optical channel provides regular video images, while the thermal channel shows temperature differences and heat development in the area.

The two technologies work simultaneously and provide a more complete overview of the area than traditional surveillance cameras.

 

Designed for fire detection

The thermal sensor can detect heat build-up and identify potential fire incidents at an early stage.

The camera supports automatic fire detection and can trigger alarms, notifications or relay activation when it detects critical temperatures.

That makes the solution suitable for waste areas, technical installations, warehouses, production environments and other areas with elevated fire risk.

 

Temperature measurement and monitoring

The camera can measure temperatures in selected areas of the image and monitor changes over time.

The temperature range can be configured from -20°C to 150°C or from 100°C to 550°C depending on the application.

If the temperature exceeds the chosen limits, the camera can automatically generate an alarm.

 

Detection of hot and cold spots

The camera can identify both the hottest and coldest points in the image.

This makes it easier to spot anomalies in technical installations, electrical panels, machinery or other areas where temperature changes can indicate faults.

 

Smoke detection as extra safety

The optical channel supports smoke detection.

Smoke detection can be used as an extra check when a fire is suspected and can help confirm incidents detected by the thermal sensor.

The combination of heat and smoke detection provides a more complete monitoring of fire risks.

 

Intelligent detection of people and vehicles

Both the optical and thermal channels support intelligent analytics.

You can set up rules such as line crossing, intrusion, enter area and exit area.

The camera can distinguish between people and vehicles, reducing the number of irrelevant events.

 

Thermal monitoring in dark and challenging conditions

The thermal sensor does not rely on visible light.

That means the camera can continue to detect people, vehicles and heat development in total darkness as well as in conditions with haze, smoke or challenging weather.

The thermal channel has a detection range of up to 140 meters for vehicles and up to 70 meters for people.

 

Built-in audio and warning lights

The camera has a built-in microphone, speaker and red and blue warning lights.

This makes it possible to detect, communicate and respond directly during an incident.

The warning lights can be used as a visible alarm for example in case of fire, intrusion or other critical events.

 

Two-way audio

The camera supports two-way audio, so you can both listen to the area and speak through the camera.

It can be used for warnings, communication with staff or other situations where direct contact is relevant.

Be aware that audio recording is subject to applicable law.

 

Alarm in and out

The camera is equipped with 2 alarm inputs and 2 alarm outputs.

This allows the camera to be integrated with external sensors, alarms, relays and other security systems.

The camera can both receive signals from other devices and activate external equipment during events.

 

Can be used with or without a recorder

The camera supports microSD cards up to 512 GB and can therefore store recordings directly on the camera.

However, as a general rule we recommend using a recorder with the camera. A recorder provides longer storage time, centralized management of multiple cameras and easier searching of recordings.

The SD card can also serve as a backup during temporary network outages.

 

PoE makes installation easier

The camera supports PoE, which means power and data can be sent through the same network cable.

This reduces the need for a separate power supply at the camera.

 

Outdoor use year-round

With an IP67 rating the camera can be used outdoors year-round.

It is designed to operate in temperatures from -40°C to 70°C and can be used in demanding environments

Power over Ethernet

Do like the professionals. POE means that only one cable is needed for the camera. The camera gets power through the network cable, typically from a recorder with built-in PoE, or from a POE switch.

ONVIF full member

Univiews cameras and recorders support the ONVIF protocol. This means that they can be mixed with equipment from other brands as long as they also support ONVIF.

Alarm in/out

Start shooting when the alarm goes or a door is opened - and use the image analyzes to control your Philips Hue or open a port.
Alarm in and out allows you to connect cameras and recorders to other equipment.

ANR

Avoid losing recordings with AutomaticNetwork R eplenishment.
If there are network problems, the camera stores the recordings on an SD- card - and then sends them to the recorder when the connection is stable again.

Smart Intrusion Prevention

The camera is constantly analyzing the image and spots people and vehicles in the area you set the camera to protect.
