Ajax LeaksProtect is a wireless water sensor for Ajax alarm systems. The sensor detects water leaks quickly and immediately notifies the system, so you can react before a small leak develops into major water damage. It is placed directly on the floor where there is a risk of water leakage.

Ajax LeaksProtect
Ajax LeaksProtect monitors areas where water leaks may occur. This can be, for example, under the washing machine, dishwasher, kitchen sink, bathtub, or near the hot water tank. When water touches the sensor, an alarm is sent immediately to the Ajax hub and on to the app.
Detects water from all sides
LeaksProtect has contact points on all four sides of the device. That means the sensor detects water no matter which direction the leak comes from. As soon as water touches the contact points, the system sends an alarm.
Notifies you when the leak stops
When the water dries, the sensor automatically detects that the leak has stopped. So you get notified both when water is detected and when the area is dry again.
Easy placement without mounting
You don't need to mount the sensor on a wall or floor. Just place it directly on a flat surface in the area where a leak may occur. That makes installation simple and quick.
Suitable for hidden areas
The sensor is only 14 mm high, so you can place it under appliances, cabinets, or other tight spaces. That makes it ideal for areas where a leak might otherwise be discovered late.
Automatic water shutoff
If LeaksProtect is used with Ajax WaterStop, the system can automatically shut off the water in case of a leak. This provides extra protection in homes, summer houses, utility rooms and businesses where water leaks can cause major damage.
Stable wireless communication
LeaksProtect communicates wirelessly with the Ajax hub. The system monitors the connection continuously, so you'll be notified if the connection is lost or if an error occurs.
Battery-powered with long life
The sensor is powered by two AAA batteries and has a battery life of up to 5 years with normal use. The Ajax system monitors battery level and notifies you in the app when batteries need replacing.
Protected enclosure
LeaksProtect has an IP65-rated enclosure that protects the sensor from dust and water. This makes it suitable for placement in damp environments like utility rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and technical rooms.
Accessories
Ajax LeaksProtect can be used with Ajax WaterStop if you want automatic shutoff of the water supply in the event of a leak. The sensor ships with preinstalled batteries and is ready to set up via the Ajax app.
