Ajax HUB2 is the control unit that manages your entire alarm system

Ajax HUB 2 is the brain of your alarm system. It's a stable, fast and secure control panel that communicates with all your sensors, cameras and the app. HUB 2 is designed for homes, businesses and professional installations where visual verification via Ajax MotionCam is required.

It’s very easy to install by scanning the QR code. As an administrator you can grant permissions and temporary access to, for example, family members or cleaners.
The system is easy to use and everything can be controlled from an app on your phone. You can add cameras to the system if they are supported.

Image verification (MotionCam)

When a motion sensor with a camera is triggered, it quickly sends a short series of images to the app. This makes it easier to determine whether the alarm is real.

Communication & security

Uses the Jeweller + Wings protocols, with Wings dedicated to image transmission. This makes the system both fast and stable.

Stable communication – both internet and mobile networks

HUB 2 uses both Ethernet (LAN) and the 2G mobile network.
That means the system keeps working even if your internet goes down.

• LAN provides high stability and fast updates
• 2G works as a backup for alarms and notifications
• Automatic switch between networks in case of failure

Supports cameras (up to 10)

HUB 2 can integrate IP cameras from Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview and others via RTSP or direct integration.
The cameras appear in the app so you can view live video alongside your sensors.

Supports MotionCam sensors

These send a series of images when an alarm occurs, so you can quickly assess the event.

Does not support MotionCam PhOD
MotionCam PhOD requires HUB 2 Plus or newer. HUB 2 cannot activate the camera manually from the app.

Up to 100 devices

You can connect up to 100 devices, e.g.:

• Door contacts
• Motion sensors
• Sirens
• Presence detectors
• Water leak or fire detectors
• Automation devices (Socket, Relay, WallSwitch)

Up to 50 users

HUB 2 supports up to 50 users, making it suitable for both families and small businesses.
Everyone gets their own access via the app or a code, and you can manage permissions individually.

Up to 9 groups

The system can be divided into separate groups, e.g.:

• Main house
• Garage
• Warehouse
• Office
• Sleeping area

Perfect for properties where certain areas need to be monitored separately.

Supports 1 range extender

HUB 2 can be paired with 1 ReX to extend range in large buildings.

If you need more ReX extenders → HUB 2 Plus is required.

SIM card

There is the option to insert a SIM card into the control unit. The advantage of having a SIM card is that it can call you if the alarm goes off. 
If there is no SIM card in the alarm system, it can only send push notifications.

You can get a SIM card from your usual provider, or order one from us. It costs 50,- per month and has no binding contract.
