Outdoor sensor with camera and the option to take photos on demand
MotionCam Outdoor PhOD is an advanced outdoor motion sensor with a built-in camera from Ajax. The camera can send images when it detects movement, and you can also take a picture yourself via your smartphone whenever you need to.
See images live – even without an alarm
The biggest difference between this model and the regular MotionCam Outdoor is the PhOD function (Photo on Demand). That means you can:
- Take a photo via the app without triggering the alarm
- Set the camera to take pictures after a scenario, for example in case of a fire alarm
- Schedule fixed times when photos are taken automatically
- Decide yourself when you want to see what’s happening – not only during break‑ins
This gives you peace of mind and flexibility in everyday life and lets you check your home, summer house or business from anywhere.
Camera with motion detection and photo verification
MotionCam Outdoor PhOD reacts instantly to movement and can send one or more photos directly to your phone.
The camera features:
- Two PIR sensors for high precision (no false alarms from leaves, shadows or animals)
- Photo on alarm – see immediately what triggered the alert
- High-quality black-and-white images – even in darkness thanks to infrared lighting
- Photos delivered in under 9 seconds, even over a SIM card connection (LTE)
Push notifications and access via app
When the camera detects motion you have the option to receive:
- A push notification with an image
- The ability to view all images directly in the Ajax app
- A real-time overview and the option to take a new photo if you’re unsure
You also have access from a PC or tablet via a browser or the Ajax PRO apps.
