AXIS F2135-RE is a small fisheye sensor that provides a very wide overview from a single camera position. The sensor connects to a separate AXIS F91 main unit, so only the compact camera part needs to be visible.

Wide overview from a compact sensor unit
AXIS F2135-RE is designed for modular AXIS camera systems, where the sensor and main unit are mounted separately. This makes it possible to place the small sensor where the image should be captured, while the main unit can be installed in a more protected location.
The sensor is also made for installations where vibration, shock, moisture, and large temperature changes may occur.
185° fisheye view
The fixed 1.98 mm fisheye lens provides a horizontal field of view of 185° at 1080p. This gives a very wide overview and makes the sensor well suited for places where you want to see as much of the area as possible from a single camera position.
At 1080p, the vertical field of view is 97°.
1080p with up to 30 frames per second
Together with AXIS F9114-R Mk II, the sensor delivers 1920 x 1080 at up to 30 frames per second. This provides smooth and detailed image quality for general video surveillance.
The sensor supports higher frame rates with AXIS F9111 models, but together with AXIS F9114-R Mk II the maximum is 30 fps at 1080p and 60 fps at 720p.
Good image in low light
The sensor is designed to deliver a usable color image even when there is very little light. The stated minimum illumination is 0.1 lux.
The sensor has a fixed IR-cut filter and is therefore not listed as a day/night camera with IR function.
WDR in challenging lighting conditions
Together with AXIS F9114-R Mk II, WDR can be used in 1080p. This helps preserve details in areas where there is both bright light and darker sections in the same image.
WDR is not supported in 720p with this combination.
Built for demanding environments
AXIS F2135-RE is developed for installations where the camera may be exposed to vibration and shock, for example in or around vehicles and machinery.
The sensor can operate at temperatures from -40 °C to 60 °C and is designed to perform under demanding conditions.
Protected against water and dust
The sensor is rated IP66, IP67 and IP6K9K as well as NEMA 4X. This makes it suitable for exposed installations where the sensor may be affected by dust, water, and weather.
The IP rating applies when used together with a cable that has the same IP rating.
Up to 30 meters from the main unit
The sensor is connected to the main unit with a compatible AXIS cable with SMA-FAKRA connection. Cables up to 30 meters can be used, so the main unit does not need to be mounted right next to the sensor.
Fits AXIS F9114-R Mk II
AXIS F2135-RE can be used together with the AXIS F9114-R Mk II Main Unit. With this combination, you get up to 30 frames per second at 1080p or up to 60 frames per second at 720p.
Since the F9114-R Mk II has four sensor channels, multiple compatible sensor units can be used with the same main unit.
Cable and main unit sold separately
AXIS F2135-RE is the sensor unit itself. To use it, you need a compatible AXIS F91 main unit as well as a compatible cable.
The datasheet lists AXIS TU6004-E Cable and AXIS TU6005 Plenum Cable as required cable hardware. An installation guide is included with the sensor.
