Thermal and optical camera with intelligent analysis

HM-TD2628-10/G1/T3A is a bi-spectrum bullet camera that combines a thermal sensor with a 5 MP optical camera. It makes it possible to do both standard video surveillance, thermal monitoring, and intelligent analysis from the same camera.

The camera supports the GUANLAN Large-Scale AI Model for perimeter protection as well as temperature measurement, fire detection, and smoke detection.

High-sensitivity thermal sensor

The thermal channel has a resolution of 256 × 192 pixels and uses an uncooled Vanadium Oxide sensor with a 12 μm pixel size.

With a thermal sensitivity of NETD ≤25 mK, the camera can detect small temperature differences and create a detailed thermal image, even when temperature differences in the area are limited.

5 MP optical camera

The optical channel uses a 1/2.7" Progressive Scan CMOS sensor with a resolution of up to 2688 × 1944 pixels.

120 dB WDR helps preserve details in areas with strong differences between bright and dark parts, while the minimum illumination is stated as 0.0089 lux at F1.6 with AGC enabled.

GUANLAN AI for person and vehicle detection

The camera uses the GUANLAN Large-Scale AI Model for intelligent video analytics and perimeter protection. The system is designed to detect people and vehicles over longer distances while also reducing the number of false alarms.

This makes it easier to focus on relevant events rather than movement that does not require attention.

Intelligent perimeter protection

The camera supports four types of VCA rules: line crossing, intrusion, entry into area, and exit from area.

Up to eight VCA rules can be configured in total, so different areas around buildings, storage yards, or other installations can be monitored individually.

Temperature measurement and temperature alarms

The camera can measure temperatures from -20 °C to 150 °C with a stated accuracy of ±8 °C.

Temperature measurement can be set up as a point, area, or line, and the camera supports up to 21 temperature measurement rules. If a temperature deviation is detected, the system can trigger an alarm.

Fire and smoke detection

The camera supports dynamic fire detection and can register up to 10 fire points.

In addition, an algorithm for detecting smoking is supported. This makes it possible to use the camera in areas where it is important to detect heat development, fire, or smoking.

Smart Hybrid Light up to 80 meters

The camera features Smart Hybrid Light and can use IR light, white light, or smart mode depending on the setup.

The IR light has a range of up to 80 meters, and the white light can also reach up to 80 meters.

Visual and audible alarm

The white light can be used as an active visual alarm with adjustable flashing frequency. At the same time, the camera supports sound alarms for both VCA events and temperature deviations.

There are two preset voice alarms as well as the option to import up to six custom voice alarms.

Combines thermal and optical images

The camera supports bi-spectrum image fusion and Picture-in-Picture, allowing information from the thermal and optical channels to be combined.

For example, it is possible to show details from the optical channel on the thermal image or display part of the thermal image on top of the optical channel.

17 thermal color palettes

The thermal channel supports 17 different color palettes, including White Hot, Black Hot, Rainbow, Ironbow, Red Hot, and Fusion.

This makes it possible to choose a thermal view that matches the specific surveillance or temperature measurement task.

Local storage of up to 512 GB

The camera supports microSD, SDHC, and SDXC cards with a capacity of up to 512 GB, so recordings can be stored directly in the camera.

NAS is also supported via NFS and SMB/CIFS, as well as Auto Network Replenishment (ANR).

Hik-Connect and integration

The camera supports Hik-Connect and iVMS-4200, as well as ISAPI, ISUP, HIKVISION SDK, and ONVIF Profile S, G, T, and M.

This provides several options for integrating the camera with network video recorders, client software, and compatible video surveillance systems.

Alarm and audio connections

The camera has two alarm inputs and two alarm outputs. Alarm events can, among other things, trigger SD recording, relay output, smart capture, FTP upload, and e-mail.

In addition, there is a 3.5 mm Mic in/Line in audio input, audio output, and an RS-485 interface.

PoE and 12 V DC

The camera can be powered by 12 V DC or via PoE according to IEEE 802.3at Class 4.

When using PoE, both network connection and power can be run through the network cable, which can make installation simpler.

IP67 and IK10 protection

The camera is rated IP67 and IK10 and has a stated operating temperature from -40 °C to 65 °C.

This provides protection against dust, water, and physical impact, making the camera suitable for demanding outdoor installations.

Accessories

Accessories that can be used with the camera include the DS-1260ZJ junction box, DS-1275ZJ-S-SUS pole mount bracket, and DS-1276ZJ-SUS corner mount bracket.

This makes it possible to adapt the installation to different mounting locations.

Power over Ethernet

Do like the professionals. POE means that only one cable is needed for the camera. The camera gets power through the network cable, typically from a recorder with built-in PoE, or from a POE switch.

If there are network problems, the camera stores the recordings on an SD- card - and then sends them to the recorder when the connection is stable again.
