5 MP Ajax camera with AI detection

BulletCam is designed to be an integrated part of the Ajax system, so video surveillance and the alarm system can be combined in one solution. The camera can be used on its own with a microSD card or together with an Ajax NVR.

5 MP camera with 4 mm lens

The camera records at a resolution of up to 5 MP, delivering a detailed image for everyday monitoring of things like entrances, buildings, driveways, and outdoor areas.

This version has a fixed 4 mm lens. Compared with the version with a 2.8 mm lens, 4 mm gives a narrower and more focused field of view, making the camera a good choice when you want to monitor a specific area from a slightly longer distance.

AI detection of people and vehicles

The built-in AI can distinguish between people, vehicles, and pets. This makes it possible to focus on the events that matter instead of only reacting to general movement in the image.

For example, it can be useful if you mainly want to be notified when a person enters the area or a vehicle drives into a driveway.

IR for monitoring in the dark

BulletCam has built-in IR illumination, so the camera can also monitor the area when there is no regular light.

The IR light is adjusted automatically so people and objects close to the camera are not overexposed unnecessarily. This helps provide a more usable image at different distances.

True WDR

True WDR helps the camera in areas where there are both very bright and very dark parts in the same image. For example, this can be the case at an entrance where there is strong daylight outside and significantly darker conditions inside.

The camera operates with 120 dB True WDR dynamic range.

Built-in microphone

The camera has a built-in microphone and can therefore record audio together with the video when the function is enabled.

Supports SD cards

Ajax BulletCam supports microSD cards up to 256 GB, so recordings can be saved directly in the camera without a separate recorder.

Ajax recommends a microSD card in V30 class or faster. Memory cards are not included.

Can be used with Ajax NVR

If you want longer recording times or several Ajax cameras in one place, BulletCam can be connected to a compatible Ajax NVR.

You can then build your video surveillance setup to suit your needs and bring cameras, recordings, and events together in the Ajax system.

Video together with the Ajax alarm system

BulletCam can be used together with events from the Ajax alarm system. For example, you can create a scenario where selected cameras start recording when an Ajax detector triggers an alarm.

This makes it easy to quickly check what is happening on the site when the alarm system registers an event.

Access from mobile and computer

The camera can be viewed through the Ajax system from both mobile and computer. Here, you can access live video and recordings depending on the setup and your access rights.

PoE makes installation easier

BulletCam supports PoE, so both network connection and power can be carried through the same network cable. This means you do not need a separate power supply at the camera if it is connected to a compatible PoE switch or NVR.

The camera can also be powered with 12 V DC.

For indoor and outdoor use

The camera is IP66 rated and can therefore be mounted both indoors and outdoors. It also has IK08 protection against mechanical impacts and can operate at temperatures from -30 °C to +60 °C.

Power over Ethernet

Do as the professionals do. PoE means only one cable needs to be run to the camera. The camera gets power through the network cable, typically from a recorder with built-in PoE or from a PoE switch.
